The South of the River Community Band is a group of musicians mainly based in ISD 196. Formed in 1990, we have grown from a dozen to over sixty members of all ages. We play a wide variety of musical styles such as marches, big band, show tune medleys and other standards that appeal to all ages.

We perform concerts year-round at concert halls, civic centers and nursing homes primarily within the south Twin Cities metro area, and then conclude our concert season with a "Concert in the Park" series in a variety of outdoor band shells.
